Dr. Lorna Kitson, Asst. Principal

Dr. Kitson is an awesome woman of God with an astounding passion for God's word and prayer.
She also has an immense love for the people of God-especially children and teens. Dr. Kitson has over 30 years experience in educating kids in the US and Jamaica. Dr. K studied in Jamaica at Mico Teachers College and has successfully earned a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Specialist, and Ph. D) from Nova Southeastern University.
She is a woman of vision that has a heart for the body of Christ. Her compassion and wisdom has blessed many that have been exposed to her teaching. She has mentored and tutored numerous students and families on best practices in reading and math. Dr. Kitson retired in 2023, but continues to reach children and families for God’s glory.

C. Horace Kitson, Bishop and Principal

As the author of the book, "Is the Bible really True," “ A Better Covenant,” and “Self-Interest-The key to motivation” Bishop C. Horace Kitson comes from a line of influential people. He is the 4th son of the late Bishop Eric Kitson. His aim and goal is to please the Lord in whatever way he can. He has a Bachelor of Theology from United Bible College and Theological Seminary, and a Master of Ministry from International Seminary. He is currently working on a PhD in Ministry and Religious Studies at International Seminary. He has been the Pastor of the House of Prayer & Praise in Orlando since 2001 and is the presiding Bishop of House of Prayer and Praise Ministries in Jamaica. He is a family man but has also dedicated his life to bringing glory to God. He is excited to share his knowledge and experience with the young people of Central Florida at Transformation Academy of the Arts.

Ruth-Ann Mangrum, Administrator

Ruth-Ann runs the day-to-day operations at Transformation Academy of the Arts. She maintains church records and school files, supervises and trains others in ministries that have office assistants or volunteers. She coordinates with the pastor, church volunteers, committee members, wedding and funeral coordinators and faculty and staff members of Transformation Academy of the Arts.She manages to do all this but makes it look easy as she is a devoted wife and mother of 5 children .
